We are a team of 4 from Milton Keynes Eventing Centre who are going to compete in the whole of the 3 day event on foot!

The air ambulance is a cause that we have always supported. As horse riders we know only too well that accidents do happen and that the air ambulance are often there to assist in the riders hour of need.

One of our team members has a very personal experience of how much they can help a rider after a fall. 15 months ago having taken a tumble she ended up breaking her right femur in 3 places and her left ankle. The air ambulance were there to take her straight to a specialist unit to deal with her injuries. Without them the journey would without doubt have been far longer and much more painful.
