We help people with ME/CFS to understand and survive their illness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Not all of you may know this but over the last few years my mum has succumb to a terrible illness known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). This illness has NO KNOWN CURE and effects the nervous system leaving sufferers bed bound for weeks sometimes months and in constant pain. It also effects sufferers energy reserves leaving people with the illness in a constant tired state and with permanent mind fog.

I am therefore trying to raise money for the MEA, a charity dedicated to both helping research into this horrible illness and helping to support  sufferers with there services. On top of this they are currently campaigning to get this horrible disiese recognized as a severe neurological illness

I will be participating in the BUPA London 10k on May the 25th and ask all my friends a relatives to give whatever they can to support the MEA in the hope that they find a cure and help my mother and the other 250,000 people who suffer daily from this illness

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your donation. It goes along way to myself and the families of people effected.
