Story
My good friend Nirmal Singh lost his father Lakha Singh to Dementia a few years ago. He shared his story with me for BBC about the lack of awareness in the Asian community and there’s a huge shame and stigma about Dementia.
I feel very strongly about this and I want to do my bit to help support and give back.
I’ll be swimming 322 lengths of a 25 metre pool in 30 days. My aim is to do this in a week. This is a total of 5 miles.
My target is £100 please help me to reach this goal.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
God bless and thank you for the support.
