This will be my first triathlon and it’s fair to say I’m not excessively prepared. But optimistic!  It’s a 1.5k swim, 40k bike ride and 10k run on Sunday 7 august. Hoping it cools down between now and then!

The charity:

Apart of Me is an award winning immersive mobile game designed by grief experts and to help young people deal with loss. 

The team behind the game is building A Safer Place - an online sanctuary where parents and carers of Ukrainian children can find well designed, easy to use resources to help them guide their children through this crisis and minimise any long-term psychological harm. I’ve been lending a bit of a hand on the research side. 

Any amount will help with their mission to make A Safer Place as good as it can be.
