Story
Bella is a very loving and affectionate cane corso breed. She has been at the rescue for almost 3 years now. I met her when she first came in and our bond has continued to grow ever since. I often take her off site for a couple of hours to give her some much needed time away from the kennels. On the weekend, I took her out for the afternoon and had lots of fun adventures. When I was bringing her back to the rescue, I got her tail caught in the car door and we ended up spending Saturday night at the emergency vets which resulted in her tail having to be amputated. Bella is a very sensitive girl but she handled all of this like a superstar, much better than I did! Although I know it was a freak accident, I could not feel worse about it. The rescue paid for the whole thing without a second thought, and although I know they would never expect this, I feel the least I can do is try to raise as much of the money back as possible.
Bella is just one of the many dogs the rescue would not hesitate to spend extortionate amounts of money on vet bills so please donate if you can! There is no such thing as a small amount, I would be extremely grateful for any little anyone can give, and if not then please share instead!
