Story
Hi everyone ! In a few short months I’m going to be running the Manchester marathon(help!!) I’m raising money for Riding for the Disabled Association because it provides a direct and positive impact to so many peoples lives. RDA supports over 25000 children and adults with varying disabilities by providing an accessible activity that improves mental and physical well-being. Through my job at Barnardo’s working with adults and children with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, I have seen first hand the joy and excitement the prospect of going to their RDA sessions brings. Having been around horses my whole life makes this a little extra special for me because I know just what amazing animals they are - they always seem to know if you need a little extra care. I am hoping to raise £500 which can go towards anything from volunteer training , buying specialist equipment or adapting spaces to keep riders warm and dry. Training is well underway for me now and I am looking forward to ramping up the miles over the next few months ! As the most accident/ injury prone person ever my aim is to just finish the race 🏃♀️My sister, Maddie, and friend, Cameron, are also running it too so will hopefully have some company yay! Please donate anything you can , thank you :)
