Story
Some great charities are benefitting from the Ice Bucket Challenge, which has swept the tech scene. It's raised a lot of money for ALS (http://www.alsa.org) , progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. I'd like to encourage you to donate to the ALS charity which originated the #IceBucketChallenge right here:
http://www.alsa.org/I'd also like to add to that pool with some profile for Malaria No More, a charity I support which does great work for kids and adults in countries affected by this terrible disease, which kills 725,000 people a year globally, 600,000 of them in in Africa and mostly children under five-years old. I hope you can support by donating via this page.
And for anyone in London, you can come throw ice over me tomorrow, 19 August, at 1.30pm outside TechHub, 207 Old St, London. Anyone can donate here, but I'd prefer it if donors get to do the ICE-ing, thanks!
