We will be running the Edinburgh Marathon on 27 May 2012.  For those of you who remember me saying i would never do it again, this time its different.....

In spring last year, a very close friend of ours, Neil Taylor, was diagnosed with cancer.  During the last year Neil has had several treatments for Myeloma and has recently spent a month in isolation in hospital to have a stem cell transplant.  Neil is only 45 and we haven't hear him complain once!

I know that Neil and his family have received care and support from the charity Friends of Anchor.  During this time Friends of Anchor fund the purchase of non NHS provided equipment for Aberdeen Royal Infirmary's ANCHOR unit.  They also fund additioanl care, comfort and support for patients attending the ANCHOR unit and fund vital ground breaking research projects.

We have therefore decided to run for Friends of Anchor to thank them for this support and care. So PLEASE dig deep!  Thank you.
