Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I had never done any significant fundraising before but when an old friend contacted me and suggested doing the Monsterski challenge to raise money for the MS Trust I was interested. As I spoke to friends and work colleagues I found out that many had close experience of Multiple Sclerosis with family members or friends who were affected. MS is much more common than I had appreciated and the work that the MS Trust does is really important. They provide essential information and support for sufferers and also their families. In 2008, it cost £3m for the Trust to carry out their work which is why fundraising activities are so important.
Some people climb Kilimanjaro, others run a marathon but in April 2010 I am attempting to ski 150,000 vertical feet in just 5 days. That's the height of Everest every day for 5 days in a row! That is a whole lot of skiing! It is going to be hard and I don't know whether I'll succeed, but along with the others that are doing the challenge, we'll push it to the limit.
So now that you know what I'm doing and why I'm doing it, over to you! I hope you are able to donate - every £ really makes a difference.
