Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I didn't set this page up before trying this quite epic motorbike journey, the weather was really looking like it wasn't playing. Friday the met office issued snow warnings, it was looking likely we wouldn't be able to complete the distance. We set off anyway.
A quick break down of the trip:-
Friday we battled through the elements, snow, fog, rain, sleet, hail... You name it we rode through it. Was cold and wet! Inverness was our first stop over.
Saturday, we set off to John o groats, made it! Got some blue skies up here, making it all worth it. Then back to Inverness, 6 hours later! Time was against us. It was looking like it was going to be an unsuccessful attempt. But we pressed on, getting back to Manchester at midnight.
Sunday, Mostly riding in the rain today, stopped at Camborne in Cornwall.
Monday, made it to lands end! Awesome feeling riding down to the visitors centre. Aim accomplished :D Cornish pasty and a brew and then headed back through the bank holiday traffic. Getting back to Manchester at around 9pm.
Would be great if you think that effort is worthy of a small donation to mind. Understanding and awareness of mental health is a massive thing. Depression and anxiety really is something that can affect the best of us. It can be difficult to understand, but there should be no stigma, not now.
Peace and love
