Story
Hi
If, like me, lockdown has helped you re-focus on what's important, you'll likely value friends, family and colleagues more than ever.
So when you hear of people important to you that have been given that awful news - the dreaded breast cancer diagnosis - you may become even more reflective.
As a teenager my Mum's twin sister was taken away by this awful disease. Thankfully treatments and survival rates have come a long way since then and, mercifully, two of my good friends are survivors. But that doesn't detract from the misery breast cancer still inflicts and the need to battle on and find a cure to avoid this.
I'll be attempting to run 100 kilometres during July and also cycle 100 miles. And hopefully, with your help I can raise some awareness and a little bit of cash doing this.
