I am taking part in this epic challenge because every child deserves a happy childhood and a positive future. Being a father and being in a position to be able to support my own daughter with opportunities that other children might not have really struck a cord with me. I have seen the hardships that some families from less fortunate backgrounds go through just to survive let alone thrive, and I believe that no child should go through those hardships and not have access to better opportunities because of their circumstances. I like to believe that we can create a world where all our children grow up to have endless opportunities at a positive future. By doing the hardest race on earth, that’s my way of hopefully making a difference for children and families that are a lot less fortunate than me. I hope you will support me on this adventure and help me raise awareness and funds for this wonderful charity.

Hope for Children is an international charity working towards a world in which every child has the happy, healthy and positive childhood we passionately believe they deserve.Almost half the worlds children live in extreme poverty. We are helping to change this by delivering education, health, livelihoods and Child Rights projects that benefit thousands of children and families each year.Everything we do is for the benefit of today's children and tomorrows parents, supporting present and future generations to achieve long-term change. We know it will take time.
