Story

Mike died suddenly on 15 March of complications related to the return of his oesophageal cancer, after an 11-year remission. He was 71 years young and until recently was very fit and loving life. He is survived by his daughters Katy, Susy and Vicky; his granddaughter Hannah Vanessa, whom he never got to meet; and his partner Maggie Holmes. He was predeceased by his wife Vanessa.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that people donate to the Bankside Open Spaces Trust, of which Mike was an enthusiastic trustee. The charity works to protect and enhance parks and gardens in South London. For more information, please see here https://www.bost.org.uk.

Donating through JustGiving is fast and secure. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to the charity.
