Story
Mick died on 4th April 2020, Grand National Day, after taking several knocks to his health in recent months. He fought incredibly hard in the last week but this time, he had just run out of luck.
As anyone who met him will know, he had a huge love for life and people but his true loves were horses and racing. He had a successful career as a jockey - even completing the Grand National course on his adored Ebony Dancer before retiring due to the gruelling weight regime.
As all jockeys know, you are only ever one fall away from needing the services of The Injured Jockey's Fund. Mick was fortunate enough to never need their help but he had many friends who did. He would be so glad to know that he is helping those friends and others through your donations even after he's gone.
Whatever you can spare would be so appreciated and a lovely way to remember the kindest of men.
Thank you x
