Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 21st April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon to raise much needed funds for Brain Tumour Research. I will be running the mammoth task of 26.2 miles in memory of my Auntie Janice who was sadly taken from us 9 years ago.

My Auntie was a wonderful person with a huge heart. She would have loved nothing more than to see me take on this challenge, cheering me on from the side lines. Although she won’t be there in person, I know she will be with me every step of the way.

Brain Tumours are a cancer and they account for more deaths in children and adults under 40 than any other type of cancer. A stunning fact that most people just don't know. But, even with that staggering fact, the government still contributes less than 1% of their cancer funding to brain tumours. LESS THAN 1%.

If you'd like to support me on my journey no donation is too small! Every contribution will play a crucial role in continuing the fight against Brain Tumours. Your support will leave a lasting impact on those who need it the most.

Thank you 🙏

Love Michelle xx

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
