Becky and I are very good friends.  We have been through thick and thin together, and have supported each other through some both amazing and terrible times.  

One of the low points was the very premature birth of my precious twins, leading to the perfect Lauren sadly passing away a day later.  One of the high points was taking Alicia home, after defying all the odds, and she continues to thrive and is an inspiration to us all.

Becky's high point was the birth of her very gorgeous girl Eleanor, who is a year old in March.  Becky lost a baby previously and she was afraid that she would never have the experience of being a mother, but her dream came true and Eleanor has brought her untold joy.

So we decided to run the London Marathon to raise vital funds for  Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Bliss.  Giving us a challenge to get fit, lose weight, and ultimately get to a level of fitness, in order to complete the Marathon.
