As some of you may know i lost my Dad 14 months ago to a very quick illness of Cancer. One minute we had 1 year with him, then 6 months and then 1 week. From the day of diagnosis to the time he passed was just 27 days. He left us on Christmas Eve 2014 at 60 years.

I wanted to do something to celebrate Dads 62nd birthday on the 20th February and when i saw this Fire Walk challenge i thought this was just up my street and perfect as Dad was a Fireman in the London region before finding his feet as a Carpenter.

Rowcroft Hospice care for people with life limiting illnesses and support them and their families. If Dad had longer with us then Rowcroft would have been a massive part of our lives and no doubt given us the support we all needed. It definitely is a time that no one should go through alone!
