Our Great British Bike Ride

Surprisingly I signed up to this pretty much without any hesitation. Not bad for someone who is not known for her sporting feats.  But this bike ride really appealed as a GREAT thing to do at both a personal and a professional level. I have never met most of the team members and yet I'm excited about spending 4 1/2 days cycling with them all. This really is a team effort - as much in the planning as in what we are going to share over those few days. The final goal is also a worthy one -raising money for abused children. 

Luckily we will be accompanied by someone who will be in the support van giving updates on our progress along the way. We also have our team doctor. 

 

I like the idea of having a support van - but I do hope that my new bike will take me all the way past my home town to Whitehall (a massive thanks here to my friends Nico and Mylène from Cycloteamic in Cagnes sur Mer if I do make it!).

 

Anyone who is in the area is welcome to come out and flag wave. Family members and godparents have no choice on this one.
