I was diagnosed with Tonsil & Neck Cancer June 2010, since then I have undergone neck dissection surgery at Northwick Park Hospital carried out by a fantastic surgeon Mr Amin & Team. I then went to Mount Vernon Hospital and had Chemo & Radiotherapy all organised by Dr Lemon and her fantastic team.

On 20th December 2010 my scan showed no evidence of Cancer and I was in Remission! What a Christmas Present!!!

The journey through this treatment was made easier by the fantastic care and support I received from all the staff across the NHS, I can't thank them enough.

My family want to celebrate 'My Recovery' so we have decided to organise a Party (BBQ, Live Music, Raffle Etc) on Saturday 25th June 2011, 4pm until Midnight, at Stoke Park Trust, 225-227 Northern Rd, Slough. SL2 1LU. Adult Tickets £5 & Children Tickets £2. All Ticket & Raffle Money raised is being donated to The Cancer Treatment & Research Trust at Mount Vernon Hospital.

However if you are not able to join us on the 25th and would still like to make a donation it would be greatly appreciated!!!

‘Celebrating My Recovery From Cancer’

A Big Thank you to everyone who attended Saturday’s Charity Event, we hope to have raised over £3,000 which is being donated to The Cancer Treatment and Research Trust at Mount Vernon Hospital, some of this money was raised via a sponsored walk organised a few weeks ago by my niece Amanda Dunn, so well done to her and all the walkers.
