We are taking the plunge and doing our first swimming event for Diabetes UK. Helena is a primary school teacher and one of her pupils has type one diabetes which she was diagnosed with at the age of six. We have learnt a lot about diabetes over the past year and it really is a life changing diagnosis.  So whats one day of aches and pains (and possibly a few days after!) for such a worthy cause. We're a little scared but mostly excited about the swim, which takes place on Lake Windermere the weekend of Helena's birthday, certainly a different way to celebrate! So this is for Evie, please dig deep and donate now to help us make a difference.
