Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2010 I will continue my charity challenge theme of the Noughties, of walking slightly insane distances in order to raise money for ABF The Soldiers Charity, in memory of Private Joe Whittaker, 4 Para, sadly lost in Helmand on 24/6/2008.

This year I will be completing the 2010 Nijmegen Trek in the Netherlands between 20-23 July 2010, trekking 200km over four days, surrounded by over 40,000 Dutch and international trekkers.

I will also be leading a team of 20+ trekkers to the Airborne Trek in Oosterbeek, Holland on 4th September 2010, walking the battlefields of legendary Operation Market Garden history.

Our soldiers continue to suffer significant casualties on the battlefields of Afghanistan and often suffer debilitating injuries or worse, which has a huge impact on their families. The ABF Soldiers Charity is For Soldiers and their Families - For Life and I have chosen to continue my support for them in 2010.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - thanks for your brilliant support.
