Story
I first became aware of this event in 2023, while out on the Newlands horseshoe with my family coincidentally on the same day as last year’s 10 in 10 event. We chatted to one of the marshals for a while, and he told us about the background, how much the Lake District means to Duncan, whose MS diagnosis inspired the event, and to his family.
I grew up not far from the route and have spent a decent amount of time on these fells so I share their appreciation of this beautiful place.
This is a charity whose mission is highly deserving of your donations, and anything you can contribute would be massively appreciated!
My good friend Richie and I will be torturing ourselves by not training hard enough and attempting the 10 summits and 26k in 5 hours, rather than the prescribed 10!
…And if I could get rid of the generic ‘people’s running feet’ image from the gallery without the page saying “Your changes could not be saved - please try again” I would, but it won’t.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
