Story

Dear All,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August I'm going to attempt to walk the 95 miles of the West Highland Way between Glasgow and Fort William in 6 days to raise monies for the Elwyn House Charity, The Adam Rogers Trust. Given the terrain, distances, midges and variable weather conditions this is quite an ambitious and demanding challenge!

Please check out the Adam Rogers Trust website for more information. http://www.adamrogerstrust.org/

Adam was due to come to Elwyn's but sadly died before he could do so. His younger brother Fergus joins us in September. If I can raise £10 for each  mile covered, then with my own donation of £50 Elwyn's can donate £1000 to help children suffering from cancer. This is in addition to the £750 already raised by this year's Elwyn's Youth Enterprise Company.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Sponsor me per mile (95 max), per day (6 max) or just make a donation of your choice. Any amount would be hugely appreciated. Thank you very much for your support.

About the charity

The Adam Rogers Trust

RCN 1118801
The Trust was set up in memory of Adam Rogers, who died of cancer, aged 13, in 2006. It aims to help children with cancer to have improved conditions of life, and also adults with learning difficulties (a cause close to Adam's heart as his brother has Down's Syndrome). It provides grants, funding and support to charities and organisations to achieve these aims.
