My name is Michael Simonsen and I am 8 years old.  I am doing the mini wave Great North Run for my Pop - Mike Flynn who I miss very much.  My mum did the race last year and raised lots of money and I want to raise even more than her so that people don't lose their Pop like I have as I miss him very much - he was funny and kind - we used to watch Postman Pat together and he made me laugh!
