Although it was not widely known, our dad-Michael Whittle was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in June 2017 and sadly passed away on the 12th October 2018.

As well as raising awareness, our main aim is to raise some money for a charity which is so close to our hearts, and one that helped us with this difficult part of our lives. They provided extra support, equipment, and essentially a lifeline for our dad, as well as our family.

The MND Association is the sole charity within the UK that helps families deal with this disease, and although there is not a cure yet, any extra funds could help work towards finding one.
