Story
My brother and I wanted to do something to help after being inspired by other people taking on challenges to raise money and due to seeing first hand the sacrifice my wife was making as an ICU nurse on the front line. To honour the NHS we decided to run/row the distance from my house to the birth place of the founder of our wonderful NHS, Aneurin Bevan who was born in Tredegar in Wales. It’s a 400 miles (645km) round trip which equates to around 10.5km each every day throughout May. We have set a target of £1 per mile so £400 in total to go to Barnsley Hospice which does wonderful things in our town and is running low on funds due to the current climate. Anything you can give will be much appreciated.
