After the sad passing of our friend and colleague Mike Dunai last week, a number of you contacted me asking if we could do a collection for charity in Mike's name. After speaking with his wife Wendy, she firstly wanted to pass on her thanks for all the wonderful messages you've sent her, and said that she'd be very grateful for any donations to go to the Sleep Apnoea Trust.

Before Mike came to HMRC I think it's fair to say sleep apnoea was a condition that many colleagues knew little or nothing about. Mike however was a passionate campaigner and spent a great deal of time raising awareness of this illness amongst the team. Mike suffered with this condition for many years but always remained positive about his diagnosis.

I think it's a fitting tribute to the work he did to make a donation in his memory, towards the future work of the trust.
