Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
In 2016, my dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the white blood cells, when one of his friends noticed he was a bit more breathless than usual on the golf course.
Since then, he has received a full course of chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant and is totally in the clear.
These treatments wouldn't have been available a mere decade ago, without the research supported by myeloma UK.
I am running the Great North Run on the 9th September, followed by the Amsterdam Marathon on the 21st October to raise money for Myeloma UK.
