I will be taking part in the Grand Depart Classic, riding the first road stage of the 2022 Tour de France, the day before the pros. It will be 183km of sweat and tears. The time limit to complete the course is 12 hours. 

I’ve signed up to this as part of the One Hull Of A Ride team who took part in the Grand Départ Classic 2019 in Brussels. They met some very inspirational riders, many of whom are suffering with Prostate Cancer. I’d like to push myself to my limits and to fundraise to help save men’s lives, but I need your help......now more than ever; Covid put paid to our fundraising efforts in 2020 & 2021 and this will have hit the charity very hard.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. Every hour one man dies from prostate cancer – that's more than 10,800 men every year. 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Ignoring prostate cancer won't beat it. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.Your donation will make an impact, so please see this as your chance to do something amazing.
