Melissa took part in the GNS 2013 raising £1125 for St Gemma's hospice in memory of her Dad Ron Wade who sadly passed away in the hospice in Jan 2013.

Stacey and Carla have signed up to this years GNS with Melissa to try and raise even more!!!!

It costs £470 per day to care for one patient in the hospice. The care is free to the patients but not to the hospice, the hospice relies on fundraising to cover the cost of the care.

Ron spent 19 days being cared for in the hospice before sadly losing his battle with cancer.

This is a one mile open water swim in Lake Windermere and if last years event is anything to go by conditions can by ferocious. This is a gruelling event and the girls will have to train hard.

It's worth a fiver of anyone's hard earned cash just to see us in a wetsuit and hideous swim caps and goggles!!!!!

Please donate anything you can.
