Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to trek the Grand Canyon in May, in memory of my beloved husband Steve, who died 20th January 2011 aged 45. He was diagnosed and received care at Salisbury District Hospital just 10 days before he died of kidney cancer. That is why I chose the Stars Appeal as my charity. I have supported the appeal ever since it first began, but it has even more meaning now.

Steve and I were married 19 years and our two boys were just 18 and 12 when they lost their dad, their role model who they idolised.

I am self-funding the trip, therefore 100% of donations go straight to the charity.

My main fundraising effort has been drawing people's pets for donations to my trek fund.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
