Melissa Rose Livingstone

Samantha Livingstone is raising money for The Boom Foundation
In memory of Melissa Rose Livingstone
In April 2013, The Boom Foundation was set up and it remains the only charity in NI dedicated to supporting patients suffering from sarcoma, a rare form of bone and soft tissue cancer. 50% of funds raised go to Sarcoma UK towards vital research; the rest supports those affected by sarcoma in NI.

Story

After a hard fought battle my sister Melissa Rose Livingstone lost her battle against a rare form of Sarcoma cancer. With little known about this cancer, there are limited treatments. More vital research is needed. I would like to support this foundation who supported my sister during this time.

About Sarcoma: Sarcomas are rare cancers that develop in the supporting or connective tissues of the body such as muscle, bone, nerves, cartilage, blood vessels and fat.

There are around 3800 new cases of sarcoma diagnosed each year in the UK.
