Story
This September weekend we are taking part in the Loch Ness Monster Rally Event to raise awareness for Epilepsy Scotland. With this charity being very close to home as my little brother Marc who is Epileptic. He has always had a passion for cars and hopes to be seizure free and be able to drive one day. We will be driving from York to Inverness in a banger of a car to raise awareness of Epilepsy, whilst driving over 500+ miles. The car we have chosen is an old Toyota Celica. This will certainly be a challenge for us as this car is a banger!
Epilepsy Scotland works with people living with epilepsy to ensure that their voice is heard. Epilepsy affects 55,000 people in Scotland, we are here for anyone with this common serious neurological condition, their families, carers and employers. We campaign for improved healthcare and an end to stigma, we influence policies that will affect the health, educational and social welfare of people with epilepsy and we provide quality information, support and wellbeing services.
