Story
We're looking to raise money for The Melanoma Oncology Unit at St James’ via the Leeds Cares charity which specialises in the care of patients with cancer and much needed research within Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
Lucy wanted to reach the target of £15,000 - which has now been smashed by the kind donations and hard work of many!
The money donated so far has helped to fund the purchase of drip stands within the Systemic Anti - Cancer Treatment Unit. The unit has 55 chairs and each chair should have a drips tand and infusion pump, because it didn't - it meant patients were waiting longer for treatment as drip stands were not available. So that's great that collectively, we have helped in someway to speeding treatments up.
We do know that they are looking to purchase a mole mapping machine and we hope our fundraising will contribute towards that too.

Following the success of the last two years' Tractor runs, the last one raising £5000 we are excited to announce this years event - details so far below:
Events 2024
26th May 10am start - Tractor Road Run from Snake Hall South, Hotham Carrs. Full route to be provided. Contact David White on 07860132177. £15 entry, includes bacon or sausage buttie and cuppa. Spectators welcome from 9.30am to see the tractors off at 10am and/or when they arrive back at the farm at around 2.30pm.
Pie & peas at the finish for a donation, pre order at the start. Thank You to Lisa Davey of The Butty Bus for doing this for us to help reach Lucys target. A bar will be available from 2.30pm.
There will be cakes to purchase and a raffle too, so please bring cash!
