Story

Having spent yesterday informing individuals that the social network that is such a big part of their lives is being taken away has left us looking to find a way to help. We had further encouragement from our teams enthusiasm to do what we can, none of them were happy about sitting about doing nothing when people who they know and care for are struggling! The Oxygen Works provides essential therapies to help people with long term health concerns, however it is so much more, it is a social hub where people forget their conditions and enjoy the company of friends. This side is as important as the therapies in helping us combat social isolation, and the very people that require this support are now being told to self isolate. We are looking to support these people by delivering an essentials package containing: 1 pint of milk 1 small loaf of bread 1/2 a dozen eggs a pot of homemade soup 3 bulbs planted in a small pot (giving people something to watch grow and flourish)
