Story
I am going to jump out of a plane for the very first time and free fall 5,000 feet to ground on my own (without an instructor strapped to me).
Although this sounds utterly terrifying, I'm doing it to raise some money for Who Cares? Scotland's Care Family Christmas Appeal.
For the last two years, I have spent 25th December with other Care Leavers who would have otherwise spent Christmas alone without Who Cares? Scotland. Christmas with them feels like home; without them I would have spent Christmas alone in a hostel or student accommodation, like many care leavers across the country. Instead I have had a wonderful day two years in a row surrounded by family, food, presents and love.
Please sponsor me to risk my life jumping out a scary plane so that we can rent somewhere big enough to hold as many Care Family members as possible, organise trains and buses, wrap presents and buy enough turkeys for all young people who want to have the Christmas they deserve.
Every pound you give will be matched by Robertson Trust so your donations are really appreciated! Thank you x
