As many of you know our lovely Dad/Grandad sadly passed away on Tuesday 2nd November 2021 after a 3 year battle with Myelodysplasia (MDS). This unfortunately progressed into Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) a few months ago and after a new treatment was unsuccessful we received the devastating news at the beginning of October 2021 that there was nothing further that could be done for him. We were able to get Grandad home for the last few weeks of his life and we will be forever grateful for the quality time we got to spend with him until he had to let go. 

Grandads funeral will be held at Newton Road Crem, West Bromwich on Friday 19th November 2021 at 10.45am and anyone is more than welcome to join us. We are asking for close family flowers only and instead would be grateful for donations to MDS UK in Grandads name. Donations can be made on the day or online if you’re not able to attend. 

If you ever had the pleasure of meeting my Grandad you would know he was the kindest, most gentle man you could ever wish to meet. No one ever had a bad word to say about him so please help us leave a lasting legacy in his name by donating whatever you can spare to MDS UK.
