I'm taking on the Purple Wave 2022 to help re-write the future of cancer!

Purple Wave 2022 in the Great Manchester Run · 22 May 2022 ·
On Sunday, 22 May I'll be running a half marathon (21km or 13.1 miles) in the Purple Wave 2022, to help re-write the future of cancer. In 2021, I lost my Grandad Tim to cancer. I'll be running in his memory to raise money for Re-Write Cancer, a Manchester-based cancer charity.
We all know someone whose life has been changed by cancer, which is why researchers in Manchester are working hard to improve how cancer is treated and help more patients with cancer get back to normal life. This is where we can help. Working in partnership with Europe's largest cancer hospital, The Christie, and Cancer Research UK, The University of Manchester is building a world-leading cancer research centre. The new centre will bring together one of the largest concentrations of doctors, nurses and researchers in Europe all working together to tackle cancer head-on. But this will only be possible with the help of people like us. Please join me in re-writing the future of cancer by sponsoring me today!
