On Sunday 12th September, Nick and I will be running the Great North Run alongside my Mum to raise money for bowel cancer. My beloved Nannan died of bowel cancer and we are running this race in memory of her and her fantastic zest for life. She was the ultimate wild child and we miss her every day. We are running in aid of Bowel Cancer UK who fund targeted research, support patients and families and whose ultimate aim is to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
