After running 6 half marathons, with a 7th coming up this fall, I've decided it was time to tackle a marathon. I'll be training for and running the race with my friend and running partner Jeanette whom I've known for over 25 years.

I'm thrilled to be running on behalf of Gobal Action Nepal (GAN). My soon-to-be sister-in-law is Nepalese, and I'll be traveling to Nepal in November to celebrate my brother's wedding. I'm excited to explore Nepal, experience the culture and give back to the community through this fundraising effort. 

GAN is social organization which has been working exclusively in Nepal for over 25 years to help develop the education system and implement social change. They work to enhance rising generation’s life chances in Nepal by widening access to and participate in empowering, community sustaining, gender-equalising basic education and vocational skills development.
