How many 12km laps can you or your team run/jog/walk from 6pm to 6am, through the darkness and into the light?

Story

This July, I will be undertaking my first ever backyard-style ultra.

As someone who has struggled with poor mental health at different stages in my life, I have repeatedly found that trail running, hiking and just generally spending time outside have always been a huge help. I made my debut as a trail ultra runner last year and am looking forward to seeing how many laps I can achieve at Through the Darkness.

As a team member with the North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team, I think this is a truly fantastic opportunity to raise money for Mountain Rescue teams across the country and raise awareness of mental health issues.

“Meg's journey is a reminder that each step forward is a victory. Join us on July 1st - 2nd for Through The Darkness and let your own inspiring journey unfold. Together, we'll break barriers, uplift one another, and ignite hope.”
