We offer professional veterinary services to pets and owners in need across the UK

Story

In 2006 I was involved in a road traffic accident which changed my life completely. In 2009 after numerous operations, drugs and suffering from depression I met a dog called Max.

Max saved my life and in 2012  decided to challenge myself to walk up the UK’s highest mountain Ben Nevis knowing that if I could reach the summit of of The Ben it could change my life

Max was my guide that day and has been everyday since.

#MaxTheMiracleDog

There are thousands of Max’s out there helping people and we want to support the PDSA as every pet deserves to lead a happy and healthy life. Just in case another dog or cat needs help at his or her time of need.

Max is a bit old to be tackling Ben Nevis as it’s his 13th Birthday on August 12th but he’ll be with us in spirit and joining our support team on the day, Paddy and a Harry will be tackling the climb!

As the UK's leading veterinary charity with 48 Pet Hospitals, the PDSA improve pets lives through prevention, education and treatment.

Every year the dedicated veterinary teams carry out 2.7 million treatments on 470,000 pets in need - all made possible thanks to people like you who donate.
