Story
I have been working as a homework helper and resource volunteer at our Evergreen branch of San Jose library since September. Now on furlough, I am available to help any students in grades 1-8 remotely. There is no charge for my help but if you'd like to pay something, please consider a donation to the library foundation to support programs like the one I work for.
Our libraries provide a place where everyone can learn, create, study and explore. The San José Public Library Foundation (SJPLF) was established in 1987 by a group of community volunteers who understood that a great Library system needed more than public funding, and we continue that legacy today. Libraries ensure an equal playing field for all, where a community can gather to reconnect, re-engage and freely access information. SJPLF envisions a fully educated, equitable, and engaged community.
