At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

In loving memory of Mavis Patricia Coleman, born 1916, Peckham London.

Alzheimer's Society supports people to live well with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow. They rely on voluntary donations to continue this vital work.

The term dementia describes a set of symptons which gradually get worse - loss of memory and problems with communication and reasoning. It is a cruel disease that slowly takes away the dignity and self esteem of the lively and caring family member you love.
