We support people affected by dementia to live their chosen lives well.

Story

I’m joining my good friend Toni to walk/run/bike/swim 100 miles in January in memory of her mum, Maureen who passed away just before Christmas.

Dementia is a devastating disease, it’s affected my own family as well and hopefully we can raise some money towards research and supporting families who are impacted.

I’m far too unfit to run so I’ll more than likely be walking the 100 miles (might fit the odd swim in) but it will be a real challenge for me time wise, as my working days are spent at my desk and a lot of my evenings and weekends on the motorway driving to training and games for the kids.

I know money is tight for everyone, especially in January, but if you can spare even £1 it would be appreciated as it’s a great cause.
