Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2012, Matt Whatson and myself shall be cycling from Lands End to - John O Groats to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This is a massive ride clocking in at just over 1000 miles...Lands End is the extreme Soutwestward point in Britain and John O'Groats being the extreme Northern Point.
Why Cancer Research?
There is no one I know who can say that they DO NOT have a friend or relative who has battled this terrible illness,
Cancer Research UK work tirelessly to find cures, treatment and provide hope for those who are affected by Cancer.
I, myself have very personal reasons for choosing this worthwhile charity:
In 2002 my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, my Grandmother developed Lung Cancer in 2006 and Skin Cancer in 2007.
At the age of 20, just over 2 years ago I was diagnosed with an inoperable cancerous brain tumor. It is not in my personality to sit around and do nothing about it. I am just one person who is fighting this disease on a daily basis and refuse to let it dictate my life. It is my hope that not only will I be able to raise a substantial amount of money for this worthwhile charity, but that my actions will inspire others suffering not to give up but to live life to the full every day!

Also i would like this to be in memory of a very close family friend Gill Westwood, who passed away this year in July.
