We are raising funds to show our support for our Dorset Federation of Young Farmers County Chairman Matt Frampton. 

This is Matt's Story

In late December 2019 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and had surgery on Christmas Eve.  Unfortunately in March 2020 a CT scan confirmed that it had spread and have 3 secondary tumours rapidly growing on my lung and I started 9 weeks of chemotherapy, under the care of the oncology team at Southampton.

I cannot thank the doctors and nurses at Dorchester, Salisbury,
Poole and Southampton enough for all the care and support over the past few months and also the wonderful back up from the Macmillan team.

Normally Young Farmer Fundraising involves a really good party and a fair amount of alcohol, but in these difficult times the Dorset YFC members have decided to hold a Quiz fundraiser for my chosen charity “Orchid” who research and raise awareness of all male cancers.

My thanks go to all the members and friends for all their good wishes.
