Story
After completing the 2014 Manchester marathon in a swash buckling time of 5 hours and 35 minutes, I have decided to go again. Although I'm immensely proud of the fact I completed the race, I cant help but feel somewhat self indulgent for entering the marathon last year without raising a single pence for those in need, and I feel it pertinent to ensure some good comes of my somewhat questionable decision to partake in an event which requires some degree of the ability to jog.
The charity of my choice is Shelter. I'm a firm believer in the fact that you should not wait to be affected by something before supporting it and having seen the harsh treatment and conditions homeless people are victim to on a daily basis I would love to run on behalf of this great charity.
