we are putting together a team to participate in Tough Mudder one of the hardest obstacle course/ half marathons in the world with the intention that we all help raise money for the Arthur Rank Hospice.

The Arthur Rank Hospice offers outstanding care to patients, my good friend jacob`s Gran wendy was one of them and I am eternally grateful that they made her last few days on this earth a more pleasant experience as she was a amazing and wonderfull lady and also my lovely friend jenny`s uncle  phil was also well looked after in his time of need.

So here's a list of what your donations will be doing for the Arthur Rank Hospice and its patients

£3 covers the cost of essential oils for a course of 5 complementary sessions

£10 covers the cost of keeping the tea bar open for a day.

£30 provides a counselling session for patients and relatives.

£50 covers the monthly cost of materials used in our creative therapy sessions.

£75 provides one day's patients and relatives transport to Arthur Rank House.

£100 buys two weeks supply of soft drinks, aperitifs and special food to improve patients' appetites.

£250 provides one night's Hospice at Home nursing care.

£500 covers the annual cost of maintenance of the patients and visitors gardens.

£800 provides a syringe driver to control distressing symptoms

£1000 keeps the Day Hospice running for one day

 

So that's what your money will be doing for people, some of which are going through the most painful and terrifying experiences of there lives.
