Story
I am cycling around the Orkneys as a warm up, then getting the ferry to John O'Groats. It should then be 760 miles to dover where I will get the ferry to Calais. It's quite easy from there really, just another 2000 miles though France and Spain to Gib. There are a few mountains in the way though. From Gib i will then continue over to North Africa and try try work out how to get home.
There has been a vast amount of training. I intend to average 100 miles a day however I'm not sure for how long. There is no support crew or posh hotels. Its me a bike a tent and lots of food!!
The plan is, don't have a plan, and nothing can go wrong.
